Races are back! Spring is in full swing. Massachusetts and New Hampshire lead the nation in vaccinations. This gives us a lot of hope for summer and fall that many outdoor activities and MVS programs can resume soon.
With the promise of road races and other events, this is a great time to recruit new MVS members, and offer a little perk for our active members.
We are eager to get back to safe group runs and races, including our own Feaster Five.
As a current MVS member, we need you to help us grow our ranks! And we’ll reward you for it!
From June 1 through Dec. 31, encourage your friends, extended family, coworkers, and neighbors to join MVS during the MVS Membership Drive – Run With Us. For each new member (or family membership) who signs up during this period, you will receive a $5 credit on your account. The credit can be used toward your own membership renewal, program registration, or MVS swag.
For new members, joining MVS is a great way to improve your running and overall health through a supportive and engaging club. If you’re training for a marathon – Virtual or in person Boston Marathon, perhaps – a running club is one of the best ways to train, prepare and find support on your 26.2-mile journey. And if you’re new to running or walking, we have a great community at all levels! All new members receive an MVS welcome bag.
All current members are encouraged to recruit a friend to run with MVS!
THE FINE PRINT
- The $5 referral bonus is good for any primary paid membership made between June 1, 2021 and Dec. 31, 2021.
- When a new member joins MVS, they must select the referring member’s name from a drop down menu on the registration page. The referring member must have an active (not expired) membership to receive the account credit.
- The $5 referral bonus will be reflected on the current member’s account as a credit and can only be used toward a valid MVS purchase, including membership renewal, program registration or MVS swag. There is no cash value.
- The new member must not have previously been an MVS member for the last 24 months.
- This offer is not good on any previous referrals.
- Current members can refer multiple people and receive multiple credits.
