This program is for collegiate, high school, and middle school student-athletes who are training for their upcoming fall cross-country season. Since we understand most coaches provide training schedules to their athletes, we intend for our program to align with existing team running schedules. We have seen great success over the last 3 years running a similar program.
Our program philosophy is based on the 5 Core Training Principles of the very successful University of Oregon - Moderation, Progression, Adaptation, Variation and Callousing.
Our onsite training will consist of 18 sessions over a 6 week program. The primary goal is to promote the 3 H's with each of our athletes and keep them - Happy, Healthy and Hungry.
The program is designed to prepare the athletes to perform at a much higher level when their team training begins on August 22nd. We firmly believe that our program creates stronger, healthier runners making them more efficient and faster runners.
Each day we offer 2-3 additional activities to enhance fitness and strength. Beyond the daily running, we have supplemental activities that include: core strength, circuit training, medicine balls, kettlebells, plyometrics, barefoot running, good form running, injury prevention and race strategy.
Additionally, we offer curated programs for athletes that are training for other sports, beyond cross-country.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like to speak about yourself or your athlete today!
